Ellen is comfortable using many virtual systems to show her design solutions to clients for projects which may be farther away, and she takes steps to keep the projects moving along when face-to-face meetings cannot happen along the way. Please see the Process page for more information.

 Ellen has passionately pursued her interest in the field of Interior Design. This field combines her love of building projects, drafting, art and materials.

She enjoys creating functional, healthy and beautiful spaces for people to enjoy. If Ellen were to select one type of project to focus on, it would be historic restorations, however, a well trained Interior Designer is able to work with many styles of design. Interior Design is a multi-faceted profession involving space planning, function, art, psychology, knowledge of materials, organization, business and more.

Mission

Your remodel or new build, big or small, is always personal, sometimes complex, and often time-consuming. That is why Ellen believes that prior planning for the success of your project is essential. Ellen helps you analyze your project to fit the needs you hope for. Then she begins the design work to create the space you need. Next she helps to select the materials and finishes needed to complete the “package”, while all along she communicates with the other contractors on the project to facilitate a team effort for a successful and beautifully completed project. Your comfort, well-being and enjoyment of your new space is her end goal.
